Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Overnight Security/Housekeeping Runner to join our team! As an Overnight Security/Housekeeping Runner, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff. The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think quickly in high-stress situations. - WORK HABITS: Meet the hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, attendance, and punctuality; report to work and return from breaks on time; give advance notice when absence is anticipated; require typical amount of supervision; accept work assignments without complaints.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Check vacant rooms.
- Deliver newspapers and pick up express menus.
- Ensure that policies and procedures are enforced.
- Ensure that property/facilities are energy efficient (conserving energy).
- Ensure/maintain key control.
- Maintain current CPR certification.

- Make safety and security patrols of property and facility. Promptly, report to management any unusual observations.
- Protect guests and employees from harm and prevent theft and/or destruction of property.

- Process and log lost and found articles.
- Confront guests and employees involved in unsafe/illegal acts.

- Perform life-saving functions as required (CPR/first aid).

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior security/law enforcement experience, hotel preferred

- Knowledge of emergency procedures and first aid/CPR certification preferred
