Job Summary:  The Assembler is responsible for assembling product using precise instructions and processes.

Essential Job Functions:

• Builds sub-assembly and finished product on assembly line or work center
• Performs quality and function checks on all final products
• Performs housekeeping duties
• Meets or exceeds position certification and efficiency requirements
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member
• Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
• Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• No experience required
• Manual dexterity
• Strong hand to eye coordination
• Ability to operate Computers, Printers, CTS Tester, Scales, Hoists
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints as well as written instructions
• Must be proficient with verbal communication skills
• Must have strong attention to details skills
• Must have analytical and critical thinking skills
• Must pass background check and drug screen

Education:

• High School Diploma preferred

Work Environment:

• Warehouse environment with elevated noise, heavy duty equipment and moving equipment
• Continuous skin exposure to oils, greases, adhesives, paints, and other chemicals
• Continuous exposure to atmospheric conditions that may affect the respiratory system
• PPE required in specific areas

Physical Requirements:

• Continuous standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
