Job Summary: The Director or Partnership & Engagement is responsible for increasing membership in the Council for Organizational Health, acquiring sponsorships for the events of The Kimmell Foundation, and seeking grants to support the operational and programmatic needs of The Kimmell Foundation.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of the major fundraising efforts
- Assist in promoting The Kimmell Foundation, The Council for Organizational Health, and the associated events
- Coordinate and implement annual and long-range financial development plans
- Research, cultivate, and solicit prospective donors and corporate and foundation grants
- Identify and grow relationships that further the Council and the Foundation
- Develop an annual plan for increasing membership in the Council for Organizational Health
- Responsible for developing fundraising budget, goals, and oversight
- Oversee donor communication (newsletters, solicitation letters, event invitations, etc.)
- Represent the organization in the community and at speaking engagements
- Assist with organizational marketing and public relations efforts
- Request and obtain sponsorships for Foundation events
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member
- Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
- Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5 years’ non-profit experience in development, communications of marketing required
- Event planning and event management experience required
- Demonstrate analytical and fundraising skills with the ability to recognize opportunities and prioritize them to attain goals
- Understanding of donor database management systems, gift processing, and donor relations preferred
- Understanding of prospective donor research techniques
- Experience in grant writing and demonstrated track record for obtaining grants
- Knowledge of the Oklahma City business community.
- Must have analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR
- Must pass background check and drug screen
