Job Summary: The Inventory Planner I is responsible for supporting inventory management processes by assisting in forecasting, purchase planning, and inventory tracking. This role works closely with buyers, operations, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and stock movement.
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock.
- Generate basic reports on inventory trends and product availability.
- Coordinate with the forecasting team to support and communicate increases in stocking levels.
- Help identify slow-moving or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with scheduling & purchasing to support replenishment needs.
- Coordinate with store managers to support store replenishment needs.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to scheduling and planning.
- Coordinating with sales and marketing teams to align inventory with market activities.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health and Environmental Safety team member.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, or Business.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong excel skills and ERP knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
