Team Leader/Warehouse Logistics - 3rd shift

Kimura is currently looking for Team Leader/Logistics employees for 3rd shift in Piedmont, SC.

Responsibilities

The Team Leader is responsible for efficient execution of daily plans while supporting the safety and quality standards of Kimura. Team Leaders will be proficient in each process area on standard work. Identify risk points and correct abnormal situations to protect the customer. Able to critically assess situations for safety or performance improvements. Advise on performance actions with the Group Leader to improve team performance. The Team Leader is responsible to uphold the Kimura mission of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

3rd Shift - 10:00pm - 6:20am - Mon - Fri - must be flexible for weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to all Group Leaders/Shift Supervisors
• Support continuous improvement activities
• Coordinate with production leads to adjust assignments to meet needs
• Identify safety risks and escalate to Group Lead
• Assist to write and edit standard work with Group Leader/Leadership
• Collect KPI data for improvement

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year experience within Logistics/warehouse work environment and leadership role
• Leadership training
• Understanding of SAP and SAP Shop Floor
• Basic skills in Microsoft 365, Excel, WORD and Email
• Expert knowledge of process and production expectations within area
• Clearly express goals and standards in a team environment
• COMMUNICATION IS VERY CRUCIAL WITH THIS ROLE.

Job Type: Full-time
