What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrator position at Kin On Health Care Center?
The Administrator is responsible for leading the Rehab and Care Center (RCC) and Supportive Housing (SH) businesses at Kin On. This position serves as a member of the Leadership Team and reports to the CEO.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates RCC and SH in compliance with all the rules and regulations established by the federal, state and local agencies and licensing authority which govern the operations of skilled nursing and supportive housing facilities.
- Provides management direction and supervision to the activity, dietary, environmental, nursing and the social service departments.
- Oversees and guides department managers in the development and use of departmental policies and procedures.
- Evaluates the job performance of the supervisees (department heads).
- Works with residents, family members to assure services provided by Kin On are meeting the needs of the residents.
- Develops and maintains positive relationships with residents, family members and employees.
- Promotes favorable public image of Kin On and represents the center in community as required.
- Ensures that the facilities are maintained in good physical and operational order, clean and safe for all residents, staff and visitors.
- Puts Customer Service in the highest priority; ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes individuals? needs, rights and self-autonomy.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements, employment laws and government regulations related to the business in order to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Works with the human resources manager to ensure that RCC and SH?s HR processes and procedures are consistent with Kin On?s corporate HR processes.
- Works with Kin On?s finance and marketing groups to ensure that financial and marketing processes and procedures are consistent with Kin On?s corporate financial and marketing processes.
- Supports Kin On?s mission, vision, strategy and core values as part of Kin On?s Leadership Team and Board.
- Assists in working with our key stakeholders: customers, government, suppliers, Board, staff, community, competitors, volunteers, partners, donors.
- Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor?s Degree in Health Care Administration, nursing, social services or related fields
- Three years of work experience in the Long Term Care settings and two years supervisory and management experience required
- Has an active/unrestricted Washington State Nursing Home Administrator license
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Pay: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
