Job Overview:
The IT Support Contractor will provide comprehensive Information Technology (IT) services at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The contractor will be responsible for managing IT resources, supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I) systems, and ensuring the secure and efficient operation of various classified and non-classified networks and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Administration:
· Support system administration activities for NIPRNET, SIPRNET, Top Secret-Collateral network, VTC, SAP, SACCS SDT, JWICS, and other C4I-based systems.
· Manage hardware, software, and firmware within the assigned AF headquarters building.
· Perform system setup, user maintenance, security management, backups/restores, email administration, network troubleshooting, and software patching.
· Maintain compliance with NOTAM requirements and configuration management practices.
2. VTC Administration:
· Provide VTC scheduling, setup, in-call monitoring, troubleshooting, and post-conference tear-down.
· Ensure VTC equipment, video matrix systems, and related components are fully operational.
· Work with senior leadership administrative staff to coordinate and support VTC sessions, including those involving General Officers.
3. Network Administration:
· Perform troubleshooting, modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
· Provide Tier 1 support for databases, configurations, and software applications.
· Ensure compliance with security protocols and support contingency operations and exercises.
· Collaborate with Cyber Security Liaison, local communication squadrons, and IT personnel for higher-tier issues.
4. Cybersecurity Liaison (CSL) Responsibilities:
· Ensure adherence to System Program Office (SPO) security requirements and DoD cybersecurity policies.
· Maintain IT systems' technical security certifications and accreditations, such as Authority to Operate (ATO).
· Notify Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) or Special Security Officer (SSO) of classified equipment changes.
5. Training:
· Provide training to Intelligence Facility personnel and applicable AF staff on relevant IT systems and software applications.
6. COMSEC User Duties (As Required):
· Perform COMSEC duties, including inventory management, destruction, receipt, and transfer of COMSEC materials.
· Use keying material for crypto equipment and manage daily crypto key advancements.
7. Reporting & Documentation:
· Submit a Weekly Activities Report (WAR) to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
· Maintain detailed records and documentation as required by government policies.
Required Qualifications:
· Experience in system administration, network management, and cybersecurity.
· Strong knowledge of C4I systems, VTC equipment, and classified network operations.
· Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks and IT security policies.
· Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, user authentication, software patching, and system backups.
· Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous experience working in a military or government IT environment.
· Certifications such as Security , CISSP, or other relevant IT security certifications.
Work Schedule:
· Regular duty hours with occasional on-call support required during non-duty hours for contingency and exercise operations.
Security Clearance:
· Top Secret
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
