About the team
The Global Benefits Associate, as a developing professional with knowledge of and experience in benefit programs and leaves administration, will be responsible for supporting and administering global benefits and leaves programs within Kinaxis, with the goal of ensuring that all employees receive competitive and comprehensive benefits packages that align with the company's overall compensation strategy and comply with local regulations in various countries.
The Global Benefits Associate partners with senior team members within Total Rewards, to support in the administration, execution, and communication of benefits offerings and leaves programs, and is responsible for responding to and triaging employee requests and ServiceNow tickets as they relate to benefits and leaves globally.
About the role
What you will do
- Administer and support various tasks related to the ongoing maintenance of our employee benefit programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, disability coverage, wellness programs, and other perks
- Participate in the renewal, implementation and change process of our global benefit plans
- Communicate benefit offerings to employees across different regions, providing education on available programs, enrollment procedures, and any changes or updates to benefits packages, including making the information available on our ServiceNow platform
- Collaborate with other departments, particularly HR and Finance, to ensure the seamless integration of benefit programs with payroll systems, onboarding and HR Services HUB, etc.
- Work with employees to facilitate sick leaves, family planning leaves such as maternity or parental leaves, and various others.
- Communicate with the employee, disability benefit provider, manager, HRBP, Finance and other involved parties to ensure leave information is shared appropriately.
- Participate in and support Total Rewards ad hoc projects as required
- Invoice Management
- Administration of our rewards program and portal
What we are looking for
- University degree, or college diploma in Human Resources or related field, or relevant equivalent experience
- Benefits certification a major plus
- 3 years of HR experience within employee benefits/administration domain preferably in a high-tech, global organization
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think critically and act proactively
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and research skills; able to prioritize tasks based on the needs of the business; proactively solicits feedback to ensure alignment
- Skilled communicator proficient in converting complex information into easily comprehensible content, using multiple mediums
- Agile and resilient in managing multiple projects with multiple sources of information
- Ability to build rapport and work collaboratively across teams
- Experience with international benefits
- Proficiency in HRIS and data management systems
- Certification in HR or benefits/leaves programs a plus
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite
