We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at a busy veterinary clinic. Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries regarding services, medications, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
- Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint and handling during examinations.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients.
- Provide information to clients regarding preventive care, medications, and services offered by the clinic.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and assistants to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
Experience
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with animal handling techniques, including dog handling and restraint methods.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures is a plus.
- Experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor with both animals and clients.
