Location:
This position is Hybrid - in-office Monday - Thursday, Remote on Fridays for any candidates residing within 30 miles of the corporate office and Remote for all other candidates residing outside of that radius.
Position Summary:
The Capital Markets Analyst for Kind Lending’s expanding Capital Markets organization reports to the SVP Capital Markets and is directly responsible for supporting the functions that are related to activities to prepare loans for sale (MBS or Whole Loan). Additionally, the Analyst will be responsible for continued maintenance/development of hedging software and other modeling/reporting as directed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally within Capital Markets to perform all duties that aid in selling and purchasing loans. Collaborate with multiple business groups as needed.
- Aid in the processing of MBS pools.
- Utilize/tune Secondary Marketing systems as directed by management - such as Compass Analytics to support loan level pricing for fair value, MSR, interest rate risk and hedging. Entry of Secondary Investor commitments as needed. Help support all data inflow and outflow to and from Compass. Develop/maintain data validation tools/reports.
- Provide pricing and transactional support for agency co-issue transactions, specified pools, and Agency transactions. Functions include pooling, data delivery and pool certification. Work with post-closing team on documentation/custodial issues.
- Execute pricing models/tools to conduct best execution analysis, pull through analysis, and optimization to maximize profitability. Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
- Contribute to the process of model and technology improvement across various analytic and database tools for managing risk and operational processes
- Develop new processes to improve business functions as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years in mortgage industry (Capital Markets or MSR Valuation preferred)
- Proficient with Snowflake, SQL and Excel (VBA is a plus), SSRS
- GNMA Pooling experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong presentation skills
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Works extremely well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to prioritize and reprioritize as necessary
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Pay Disclosure:
The starting base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $75,000 annually. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S. without a visa sponsorship.
