What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at Kind Therapeutics USA LLC?
Kind Therapeutics USA in Hagerstown, MD home of Nature’s Heritage is looking to fill an immediate opening for Maintenance. As a member of the Maintenance dept you would be responsible for assisting in inspection, maintaining and repairing all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
The prospective employee should have a solid work ethic that is proven through their resume and references. Must be a team player and should be self-motivated to maintain production standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This person should be punctual and extremely detail oriented. Must be able and prepared to sit or stand for 8 hours at a time, and ability to lift at least 50lbs.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
- Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
- Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example window, wall, door or roof repair
- Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped
- Other duties as required per general scope of work
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Pass a Federal and State background check
- Must have reliable transportation
REQUIREMENTS
- This position requires an inordinate amount of sitting, walking, bending and reaching
- Must be capable of standing for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks
- Attention to detail required
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
All potential candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to pass the State of Maryland Background check.
