Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Social Work Administrator for an Education Program at Kind to Kids Foundation in Newark, DE. The role involves daily tasks related to social work, education, supervision, and communication to support children in foster care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work administration, experience in leadership, staff supervision, case management with foster children, and knowledge of the public education system. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day tasks of Advocates and their caseloads. Administrator ensures that foster children obtain advocacy, guidance and support necessary to succeed in their education. This exciting position involves public presentations and connecting with community partners. It has great work / life balance with three in-person office days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) and two remote work days (Wednesday, Friday) .
Qualifications
- At least three years in a supervisory role in social work case management or education
- Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Empathy, compassion, and patience in working with children facing trauma
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, or related field. Master's degree preferred
