We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pediatric Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy pediatric practice. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of medical assistants, receptionists, and administrative staff, ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the pediatric practice
- Supervise and train medical assistants, receptionists, and administrative staff
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate with medical providers
- Manage patient accounts and billing, including working with insurance companies and collecting payments
- Maintain and update patient records using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Eclinical Works
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including the New Jersey Vaccine for Children Program
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of care
- Monitor and maintain inventory of medical and office supplies
- Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred or the equivalent in experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare management role, preferably in a pediatric setting
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Eclinical Works
- Knowledge of the New Jersey Vaccine for Children Program and other state and federal regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
