Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care (Ages infants through 6th grade). You will engage with children through play-based learning and structured activities, fostering their development and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a private Christian child care center environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Help to create a structured environment that supports learning through play, exploration, and creativity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices in child care.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Observe and assess children's development, adjusting activities as needed to meet individual needs.
Skills
