Admissions Sales Representative (mental health and trauma)

We are looking for an admission/sales professional interested in helping those who are struggling with mental health and trauma related disorders that include depression, anxiety and PTSD. The ideal candidate will be an experienced admission representative with a strong background in sales; someone who will initiate and follow up with leads, effectively communicate, be confident with the services we have to offer, and be solution oriented. Knowledge about mental health issues would be a plus.

 

Responsibilities

  • Respond to phones and web generated inquiries in a polite, friendly, and professional manner
  • Gather patient information, treatment history, and insurance information and document appropriately
  • Contact and follow-up with prospects or leads assigned to them using the phone and/or email
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members and supervisors
  • Adhere to all company and regulatory rules
  • Follow HIPAA regulations always, regarding client information.

 

Experience / Skills

  • Previous experience in a sales position (required)
  • Understanding of mental health disorders
  • Experience within the mental health industry (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature
  • Must speak english 
  • Basic phone and computer skills Job Type
