Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Assistant Teachers to join our team. As a teacher at Kinder Kastle, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students, focusing on their educational, social, and emotional development. You will play a critical role in fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and prepares children for future academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational needs of each student.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in the learning process.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure educational goals are met.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and behavior.
- Manage classroom activities and create a positive learning environment.
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary.
- Provide literacy education and physical education opportunities.
- Prepare students for standardized testing as required.
- Support the lead teacher (for assistant teacher role) in executing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment in compliance with state regulations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong background in special education and childhood development or willingness/eagerness to learn.
- Ability to effectively educate and support students with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficient in behavior management techniques.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting.
Assistant Teachers:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous experience in a childcare setting is a plus.
- A genuine love for working with children and supporting their development.
