Duties
- Supervise group play and ensure safe interactions among dogs
- Monitor and report individual (solo) dogs and report any behavioral concerns
- Administer food, water, and medication according to each dog’s schedule
- Provide one-on-one enrichment (walks, playtime, affection) as needed
- Assist with basic grooming tasks (brushing, wiping down, light bathing if required)
- Communicate with team members to ensure seamless care for each dog
- Provide updates to pet parents as needed
- Help problem-solve issues related to play behavior, safety, or facility upkeep
Cleaning & Sanitation
- Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and common spaces
- Mop floors and disinfect surfaces regularly
- Pick up and dispose of waste immediately
- Wash and sanitize dog bedding, bowls, and toys
- Clean and maintain play equipment, ensuring a safe environment
- Perform laundry duties (washing and drying bedding, towels, and cleaning cloths)
- Keep food prep and storage areas clean and organized
Qualifications
- Previous experience with dogs (personal or professional) is a plus but not required – we provide training!
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both pets and their owners.
- A genuine passion for animals, demonstrating patience, empathy, and responsibility in all interactions.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.
- Must be comfortable handling and being around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Ability to work on your feet, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual, reliable, and able to follow safety procedures
- Must be 18 years old with reliable transportation
