Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed clinical supervisor to provide weekly, 1-hour remote group supervision for LMSWs working toward independent licensure. This role is ideal for a clinician with strong leadership, mentorship, and teaching skills who is passionate about supporting developing social workers in their clinical practice.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly, 1-hour virtual group supervision sessions for LMSWs.
- Provide guidance on clinical cases, ethical decision-making, and best practices in social work.
- Support supervisees in developing competencies aligned with state licensure requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive group learning environment.
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance professional growth and clinical skills.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing board supervision requirements.
- Maintain documentation of supervision sessions as required.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW, LICSW, LCSW-S, or equivalent).
- Must meet state-specific requirements to provide clinical supervision for LMSWs.
- Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience (or as required by state).
- Previous experience providing group supervision or training preferred.
- Strong knowledge of clinical interventions, ethics, and professional development for social workers.
- Ability to foster a positive and growth-oriented supervision experience.
- Comfortable with virtual supervision platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
Schedule & Commitment
- 1-hour group supervision per week (consistent schedule).
- Additional brief documentation as needed.
- Remote/virtual role.
