Primary purpose:
Provide supervision and leadership for safety, compliance, reliability and financial management.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Proactive leadership, response, training and support for pipeline asset protection from encroachments.
- Coordinates and participates in quality public awareness programs.
- Coordinates and participates in quality emergency responder programs.
- Coordinates the patrol and documentation of leak surveys.
- Operations technical expert for One Call system, PODs database entry and other associated applications.
- Coordinates the review and updating of House Count Surveys.
- Prepares for and participates in internal/external compliance and regulatory based audits.
- One Call representation and participation.
- Represent the company during contracts with landowner/tenant, public official, emergency official and local organizations.
- Coordinate with second and third parties to ensure company excavation policies are upheld.
- Inspect/oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties.
- Trains Company and third-party personnel as required.
- Perform governmental compliance activities such as line patrol, house count surveys, road and railroad crossing inspections.
- Communicate and coordinate aerial patrol to ensure pipeline is flown per regulatory requirements and concerns are identified and addressed.
- Maintains oversight and maintenance of damage prevention pipeline markers, signs and stickers.
- Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns.
- Actively participate in safety programs, provide media and emergency support.
- Participate in the development of O&M Procedures, Site Specific Procedures, project scopes and work plans.
- Complete appropriate documentation, KMOC, OQ qualification and other associated documentation.
- Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirements.
- Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience/specific knowledge:
- Will be required to achieve and maintain OQ qualifications on specific tasks required to perform certain job duties.
- Travel may be required.
- Be available for and provide emergency response after regular business hours which will require carrying a communication device.
- Basic computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, various operating systems and other company software).
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals).
- Ability to read blue prints, alignment sheets, diagrams and maps.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Internal and external customer focus.
- Ability to work with a team.
- Take directions from the manager and keep the required work schedule.

- Valid state operating license with acceptable driving record.

- Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable gas, liquids and high-pressure systems.
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures and practices including common ground alliance.
