Kinder's is seeking an experienced Customer Planning Manager who is passionate about being part of a team of hard-working people focused on bringing the future of flavor to consumers everywhere.
How you'll have an impact at Kinder's: As the Customer Planning Manager for Walmart you will be responsible for one of our largest, fastest growing businesses. What is unique about this job is that it is a general management role, NOT a sales role nor supply chain related. It is operations analytics. The customer relationship will be owned by other members of the team, but this role will play a critical part in executing against customer deliverables.
What are the Key Responsibilities of this Role?
- Deliver profitable growth for Kinder's by reporting on business performance, understanding key drivers and identifying gaps/opportunities for the Walmart business.
- Own analytical analysis for performance of specific projects/one time buy opportunities.
- Work closely with Shopper Marketing team to ensure shopper/ trade marketing is executed.
- Provide guidance on forecast for marketing and trade programs to be layered onto base business forecast.
- Enter and reconcile events in trade promotional management tool.
- Manage tracking and analysis of trade programs.
- Work closely with Brand/Commercialization teams to support new product launches. Ensure items are correctly setup and other customer needs are met (e.g. samples, product photography, etc).
- Assist with annual business planning, entering inputs in the planning tool and being able to explain the details behind growth assumptions.
- Help with pulling together line review and innovation presentation materials.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree required.
- In-depth Walmart or Sam's Club experience.
- A proven track record of high performance.
- Self-Starter: highly motivated and competitive.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the CPG industry with a focus on either marketing, sales ops, planning.
- Demonstrate a source of business knowledge and problem-solving capabilities (leverage insights, identify risks / opportunities, and recommend action-based solutions) supported by analytics.
- Solid knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Sound business judgment, problem-solving skills, and analytical expertise.
- Demonstrates Strong interpersonal, oral/written communication and presentation skills.
- Open to travel 10% of the time

Location & Travel
This position is available in one of two locations. It can be based out of our office in Walnut Creek, CA with a minimum requirement of 4 days a week in-office. Or we're also open to Northwest Arkansas based candidates who would work out of the Kinder's office there. Additional travel will be required for this role on a periodic basis.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $120,000- $140,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
