Responsibilities:
- Carry out lesson plans and activities that align with the schools curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive classroom environment for 5-12 year old students
-Provide feedback to parents about their children in program
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education
Classroom Experience Requirements:
- Assistant teachers: No experience necessary
Teachers: 240 hours working with School Aged Children (5-12 year olds) in group setting, no nannying or babysitting
- Experience working with elementary school students
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education strategies
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
