Teaching Position Available
KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to join our team at Washington Elementary. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young learners, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each child
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Communicating effectively with parents, center staff, and leadership to ensure a cohesive approach to education and care
• Supporting the development of less experienced teachers through coaching and mentoring
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• 2-3 years experience in early childhood education
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
