Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Teacher to join our team at KinderCare Learning Companies. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. You will also partner with parents and center staff to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child.
- Create a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, teachers, and center staff.
- Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
- Possess strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and handle multiple situations effectively.
- Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
- Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children.
