Job Overview
The Lead Teacher position at KinderCare Learning Companies is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a leader and mentor. As a key member of our educational staff, you'll be responsible for implementing our curriculum, coaching less experienced teachers, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and learn.
- Model behaviors and provide feedback to junior teachers
- Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Partner with parents to provide exceptional care and education for their children
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent customer service skills and strong organizational abilities
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy requirements
- Approved state trainer status (preferred)
- 2-3 years of experience in early childhood education (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
