Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement our curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
- Lead and mentor less experienced teachers, modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
- Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
You'll Thrive in This Role If:
- You possess outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and effective multitasking.
- You have an active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
- You're an approved state trainer (preferred).
- You have 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred).
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
- You meet state-specific qualifications for the role or are willing to obtain.
- You have CPR and First Aid Certification or are willing to obtain.
- You're physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
- You can assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
- You read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
