Your Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
- Implement our curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child
- Create a positive learning environment where children can engage in activities that promote their cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Partner with parents to ensure they have access to information about their child's progress and well-being
- Support your center's success by collaborating with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
What We're Looking For
- Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- The ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, work indoors or outdoors, and assume postures that allow physical and visual contact with children
- The capacity to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents
