The role of a Teacher at KinderCare is to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn. You will implement our curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child, while also leading, coaching, and mentoring less experienced teachers in your classroom. You will model behaviors, provide feedback, and ensure their growth and development.
You will partner and connect with parents, who share your desire to provide the best care and education for their children. You will also support your center's success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively. You will also require an active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements, as well as approved state trainer status, if desired.
