KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team at Washington Elementary. As a Teacher, you will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team that shares a commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
• Lead a classroom of young learners, implementing KinderCare's curriculum and creating a safe and nurturing environment
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each child
• Communicate effectively with parents, center staff, and leadership to ensure a cohesive approach to education and care
• Support the development of less experienced teachers through coaching and mentoring
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• 2-3 years experience in early childhood education
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
