Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the overall development of each child.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Understanding of childhood development principles.
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Proficient in behavior management techniques to support positive interactions among children.
- Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures for young children.
- Ability to provide care for toddlers , ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for caregiving and nurturing young minds.

Pay: $13.95 - $15.15 per hour
