Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role involves working with children aged 4-12 years old, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth through engaging activities and structured learning experiences.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in various domains including language, math, science, and social skills.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies to promote good conduct among students.
- Observe and assess children’s progress and development, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
- Foster strong relationships with students while providing individualized support based on their unique needs.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience for all students.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in classroom management techniques.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
- Experience working with infants or toddlers is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
