Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Educate and engage children in various activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Monitor children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents regarding their child's growth.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education, including first aid and childhood development techniques.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children is strongly preferred; experience in infant and toddler care is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to create a structured yet flexible learning environment.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude with the ability to foster positive relationships with students.
