❤Qualifications - Desired Skills and Experience:
TEACHERS must be...
18 years of age, AND one of the following...
--High School Diploma or equivalent AND 6 months childcare center experience
--High School Diploma or equivalent AND 12 credit hours from accredited university
--Associate's / Bachelor's Degree in ECE or related field, OR CDA - Child Development Associate Certification
TEACHER ASSISTANTS must be...
A minimum of 16 years of age and currently enrolled in high school, OR
Employed as a teacher for 12 months or have volunteered as a teacher for 12 months
SCHOOL COOKS must have at minimum of 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant or school setting. Food Handler's Certification preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL STAFF...
State background check & fingerprints
CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
Ability to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
All center staff applicants must meet state specific guidelines for the role. Our highest priority at KinderCare has always been to keep our employees, children, families, and communities as safe and healthy as possible.
