Located in various centers across the United States, this position is essential in helping children develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills while supporting families in their childcare needs.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Provide individualized support to children based on their unique needs.
- Manage behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements
- EEC certificate strongly preferred
- Experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and parents.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and constructively.
- First aid certification is a plus.
