• Ensure a safe, nurturing space where children feel encouraged to explore, play, and grow.
• Cultivate a learning environment that sparks curiosity, supports child development, and fosters a strong sense of community.

Curriculum and Child Development

• Implement KinderCare’s curriculum, planting the seeds for lifelong learning through intentional, engaging experiences.
• Observe, document, and assess each child's development, helping them reach new milestones.
• Support children’s healthy growth by using best teaching practices rooted in research and experience.

Professionalism

• Show ethical and professional conduct by treating children, families, and co-workers with respect and compassion.
• Continuously nurture your professional growth through ongoing training and development.
• Actively contribute to a thriving, engaged workplace and uphold KinderCare’s positive reputation in the community.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic learning environment
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willingness to obtain)
• Fluency in English to effectively communicate with children and families
• Physical ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, work indoors and outdoors, and actively engage with children at their level
