Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educators in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. Duties
- Assist in the daily management of classroom activities, ensuring a structured and positive environment.
- Support teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of students.
- Provide individual attention to children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Engage with students during playtime, encouraging creativity and exploration through various activities.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
- Assist with the care of toddlers, including diaper changes, feeding, and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and communicate any concerns regarding behavior or development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Work effectively with children with disabilities, adapting activities as necessary to ensure inclusivity.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Experience working with students in preschool or daycare environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of toddler care practices and early childhood developmental milestones is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
