What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secondary Teacher- Toddler position at Kinderone Preschool?
We're looking for a compassionate, creative and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our team. A successful candidate will be a strong communicator with a passion for teaching, and should have an understanding of early childhood development. The ideal candidate for this position will also have experience working with a diverse population of children, and will be comfortable engaging with the parents of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the the director and other teachers to ensure that the preschool provides proper services to children and families.
- Work with the director to develop a budget for the preschool.
- Ensure that students have access to qualified and up-to-date early childhood professional development.
- Meet with parents and guardians to understand their needs and goals for their child's development.
- Be able to work with team to meet goals for special programs and services.
- Supervise students during activities and lessons.
- Develop effective lesson plans based on student needs.
- Use positive discipline techniques.
Requirements:
- AMI/AMS Certificate
- CPR/First Aid
