Responsibilities
Take ownership of developing 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings for autoinjector assemblies, ensuring they are compliant with industry standards in design, tolerancing, and design for manufacture (DFM).
Developing and qualifying test methods for autoinjector functional performance testing.
Writing technical reports and presenting results at technical reviews.
Identifying design solutions for technical issues found during performance testing.
Ensure that all design activities and documentation comply with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP) for medical device development and manufacturing.
Projects/Assignments:
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the medical device industry, working on cutting-edge projects that directly impact the quality and performance of autoinjectors. The successful intern will gain valuable knowledge of CAD design, medical device manufacturing, and regulatory compliance, all while contributing to important projects within the field. The primary assignment for the intern will be to develop CAD models of autoinjectors components and sub-assemblies and conduct functional testing of autoinjector assemblies and sub-assemblies. This involves:
Finalizing component designs.
Documenting test methods and test results.
Statistical analysis of test results.
Collaborating with other engineering teams to identify and resolve any issues.
Additional projects may include supporting design improvements or addressing challenges that arise.
