Summary
As a Registered Behavior Technician at Kindness and Intervention LLC, you will play a vital role in implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position is essential in delivering quality care and support to our clients, helping them achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client progress during sessions.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home and community environments.
- Assist in developing strategies to improve client behaviors and skills.
- Educate clients and families about behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent application of interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices is beneficial but not required.
