Overview
I am looking to hire a jewelry sales person for my small jewelry business, Kindness Gems. I have a mobile cart out on the pearl street mall and am looking to hire someone from the last weekend in April- end of October. Your Role will be to sell in person while driving brand awareness. The role will be Thursday- Sunday 11:30am-7:30pm. It’s the perfect role for any extrovert who loves connect with people and wear dainty gemstone jewelry.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and help them fully through their buying process
- Assist customers with product selection and upselling additional items to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively communicate with customers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing to maximize sales opportunities.
- Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and retail math calculations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a sales or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations.
- Ability to work effectively independently
- Excellent communication skills
