SUMMARY OF POSITION
Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for assisting in the development of marketing strategies in line with Kindred’s brand growth ambitions. This role is a part of a team of two and will manage the implementation, optimization, and ROI assessment of all marketing initiatives across our platforms, both internal and external.
This role is great for someone looking to gain broad experience in the marketing space while also having responsibility and autonomy. The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in elevating Kindred’s brand position across our core sectors, driving strategic brand presence and enhancing client, partner, and industry engagement. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, the Marketing Manager will develop the annual marketing strategy, plan all marketing activities across all of Kindred’s brand channels, oversee the design and coordination of campaigns and branded assets, manage marketing budget & optimize ROI on marketing spend, develop recommendations for increasing Kindred’s brand presence across our key segments.
This is one-year contract position with competitive base salary, extended health and dental benefits, healthcare spending account, and paid vacation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Planning: Partner with Kindred’s Marketing Consultant to develop and refine the annual brand strategy, ensuring alignment with our core sectors and long-term growth objectives.
- Campaign Development: Design, execute, and analyze multi-channel marketing campaigns (e.g., website, email, social media, blogs, PR, Events) to drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Content Creation: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies to produce compelling, audience-specific content that reflects Kindred’s expertise and values.
- Platform Management: Oversee content development and management across all platforms to maintain consistent and engaging brand representation, (e.g., website, email, social media, blogs, PR, Events).
- Performance Measurement & Optimization: Monitor and analyze, and report on key performance metrics (ROI, traffic, conversion) to evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvements.
- CRM Management: Optimize CRM initiatives to nurture client and partner relationships, grow our mailing list, and support lead generation through strategic campaigns.
- Brand Innovation: Foster a culture of creativity and innovation to strengthen Kindred’s brand equity among clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively recommending new campaigns to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Liaise with Business Development, Project Teams, and Human Resources to ensure cohesive campaign execution, brand consistency, and an optimized experience for clients, partners, and employees.
- Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor market competition and leverage insights to enhance our digital and brand presence.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, branding, communications, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success and progressive growth in B2B marketing, with a solid understanding of strategies that drive results in dynamic industries.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial, eager to lead and build a marketing department in a fast-paced, growing organization.
- Digitally savvy, with a keen eye for design and proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; and MS Office suite.
- Experience with SEO/ SEM, social media marketing, and content management systems
- Strong, persuasive writing abilities with technical and professional precision, paired with a knack for storytelling that engages diverse audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously within project-based guidelines, manage time effectively, and take initiative to drive projects forward.
- Passion and creativity to take ownership of and expand Kindred’s marketing initiatives, making a measurable impact on brand growth!
