Vaughan Regional Medical Center is seeking Medical Technologist (MT) OR Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). Serves as a professional member of the laboratory staff who works well as a member of the laboratory team, performing all laboratory procedures (Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology, Serology, Urinalysis, Point of Care) , assist with R&D, staff training, quality control review and assessment, instrumentation maintenance, venipuncture, solves problems under critical time constraints, operates under minimal supervision, and assists the Analytical Lead and Laboratory Manager.>>At Vaughan Regional Medical Center , we recognize that our patients deserve qualified, engaged, and competent healthcare professionals. Qualified Medical Technologist (MT) candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology and hold a current certification by the ASCP as a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Experience preferred but not required.
Qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) candidates will have a degree in Medical Laboratory Technician or Military Equivalent with eligibility for certification. MLT (ASCP) must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Experience preferred but not required.
