What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Technician (PCT)- Emergency Department- 11a-11p position at Kindred Healthcare Inc.?
Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
Aid with movement and placement of patients.
Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Document necessary records.
Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
Perform emergency department specific care/duties as assigned within scope of job.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Successful completion of a Patient Care Training program Highly preferred.
Minimum six months experience preferred / not required.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
BLS Certification required after 30 days of employment.
