Job Summary:
- Support therapists and therapist assistants in the treatment of inpatients and outpatients
- Assists secretaries and the department staff in performing administrative support and general office duties
- Possess appropriate education, experience, and training to assure competency as delineated in the "Age Specific Competence Assessment"
- Responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services
- Provides material supply services for a variety of departments as required
Qualifications Qualifications Minimum Education
- High school diploma or equivalent - Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
- Previous experience in patient care preferred.
- Current student in program of related field
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
