>Responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services. Provides material supply services for a variety of departments as requested.

Transporter I
Minimum Education
X High school diploma or equivalent X Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications
X Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum Work Experience
Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
Transporter II
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent - Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications
Certified Medical Assistant Licensure Preferred
Current Georgia licensure as a Certified Nurse Aide Preferred
EMT -B Certificate of completion of course work Preferred
Pharmacy Tech Cert Preferred
Completion of Nursing Fundamentals in Lieu of CNA Licensure Preferred
EKG or ECG course completion certificate
