Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.>>Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.>>Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.>>Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.>>Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.
Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS); Other: Image Gently Education required within 90-days of hire.
Licenses: ARRT, ARDMS or Sonography Certificate (preferred)
