Andalusia Health is currently seeking to fill a Student Ultrasound Tech position.
Essential duties
- Utilizes Ultrasound techniques to obtain diagnostic images
- Performs age specific ultrasound procedures utilizing the necessary independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in order to obtain diagnostic sonograms
- Performs inpatient, outpatient, ER and surgical procedures as needed
Qualifications
Education required
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum of one year didactical and clinical training from accredited Ultrasound School
Additional skills/abilities
- Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
