Job Description :
- Promote and restore patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of patient care area.
- Direct and develop staff; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff.
- Provide physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.
- Accomplish nursing human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
- Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, and appraise job contributions.
- Meet nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews.
- Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems and identify system improvements.
