Job Description :

Holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process.

Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department.

Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.

Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff.

Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
