Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM / Tuesday & Thursday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide primary care, wellness visits, minor injury care, occupational medicine, and screening exams for patients aged two years and up. The APRN will serve as an educator, healthcare resource, consultant, and patient care advocate while also leading clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient screenings, history assessments, physical exams, and preventive health measures
- Conduct phlebotomy, minor procedures, wound care, and body fluid collection
- Maintain employee health records in EMR (documentation completed within 48 hours)
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Review lab, x-ray, and emergency reports daily
- Develop health promotion initiatives and provide health risk assessments (biometrics)
- Assist with return-to-work strategies for employees post-injury or illness
- Visit client locations to assess work environment safety risks
- Provide health & safety training and participate in flu shot/biometric events
- Conduct Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals
Job Requirements:
- Master’s in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
- Active West Virginia APRN & FNP License
- DOT Certification (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of occupational health experience (Required)
