Job Overview:
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient team in Twin Falls, ID. The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatric evaluations and medication management and a passion for delivering high-quality mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Psychiatric Evaluations
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to evaluate mental health needs.
- Formulate accurate diagnoses based on clinical findings.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
✅ Medication Management
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications following best practices.
- Adjust medication regimens based on patient response and progress.
- Educate patients about medication usage, side effects, and treatment expectations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a Psychiatry specialization.
- Active state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Proven experience in psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
